A Potluck Event

A potluck is a gathering of people where each person or group of people may contribute a dish of food prepared by the person or the group of people, to be shared among the group. Yes,that is the meaning of potluck. In this entry, I would like to share about my experience having a potluck with my Faculty of Science in KTT.

    Last Syawal, a potluck was held by Faculty of Science (UiTM) in KTT. In this event,all part of students starting from Part 1 until Part 6 include Pre-Diploma in Science were taking part in this gathering. For my classmates and I, we're preferred to cook fried noodles for this event. It's sound simple and easy but for me there are a lot of memories that lurk behind the fried noodles.

   Before we start over our 'gotong-royong' to cook the meal, definitely we must have the ingredients first. So,we've already divided our work into three groups. Group 1 will be going to buy all the ingredients needed to cook fried noodles. Group 2 will be going to cook the meal. And Group 3 will be going to wash all the apparatus used after cooking the meal.
  
    We started our cooking at 5 p.m as well as the gathering starts at 9 p.m. The moral value i've got from this event is cooperation is indispensable to the success of an event.
